The 52 Super Series is the world’s leading grand prix monohull yacht racing circuit. Up to twelve teams from eight nations will battle it out over a series of six week-long regattas before crowning its champion for the 10th edition. McLloyd has been tasked with implementing its HPv2 technology for all of the races, feeding data to our partner GEORACING for the visual production. The GPS tracking possibilities offer numerous indicators to measure, evaluate and showcase real time performances during the circuit.
Throughout the live streaming on both the 52 SUPER SERIES’s website and the mobile app, the GEORACING team will offer a 3D virtual production enabling a better understanding of the different strategies operated by the teams. In addition, an interactive 2D player will also allow a detailed analysis of trajectories and other race data.
Once more the HPv2 is faced with another difficult challenge from extreme conditions and yet again its reliability triumphs. These are exciting times for McLloyd as they participate in their very first sailing event. Nevertheless, McLloyd’s HPv2 continues to shine in new environnements, elevating their long-term potential in the sport technology industry.
